About Our Tours

Conducted by one of our team, our brewery tours are a great insight into the workings of a microbrewery.

We’ll take you through how the beer is produced, how we develop our recipes, explain a little about how and why we started & follow it all up with a short tasting of our beers in our tap room.

Our tours will be fun, insightful & you’ll leave hopefully knowing just that little bit more about that delicious beer we all enjoy drinking.

Tours last roughly one hour.
£13.50  per person inc. booking fees.
Over 18s only.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s included?

4 x 1/3 pours of a range of our beers / a guided tour of our brewery / a tutored tasting of our beers / answers to your burning beer-y questions

Can I bring a group?

Our maximum group size for our scheduled Saturday tours is 10 people. If you’d like to book a larger group, please contact brewerytap@doublebarrelled.co.uk to discuss private bookings.

Sounds great – how do I book?

You can book a spot on one of our tours on our webstore – here.
Dates are released roughly six weeks in advance.

I have a voucher, how do I use it?

If you have a voucher with a code on it, then it couldn’t be easier! Just add the date you’d like to attend to your basket through the link above, then enter the code at checkout.
If you have an old style voucher (purchased before July 2021) with no code, then drop an email to brewerytap@doublebarrelled.co.uk and we’ll book you in manually.

How do I buy a gift voucher?

You can buy vouchers from our online store, as either a physical voucher which we’ll post to you, or a virtual voucher via email. You can also buy physical vouchers from the Taproom during our regular opening hours.

Vouchers are valid for a year from purchase.

I was booked onto a tour that was cancelled due to Covid-19, what do I do?

Never fear! Drop an email to brewerytap@doublebarrelled.co.uk and we’ll manually reschedule your tour to a date that suits you.

My friend is gluten intolerant/does not drink, can they come on the tour?

We currently do not produce any gluten free or alcohol free beer. While they may find the tour interesting without a beer, unfortunately they won’t be able to take part in the tasting portion of the event. If you have any concerns about other allergies, such as nuts or lactose, please drop us a line at brewerytap@doublebarrelled.co.uk and we’ll be happy to talk you through your options.

The fine print

While the brewery is not in operation at weekends, this is still an industrial environment – please do not wear heeled shoes, or shoes with an open toe

Please arrive sober – we reserve the right to refuse service, or admission to the brewery, if you are intoxicated.

Brewery tours are for over 18s only, and you will be asked to present ID if you’re lucky enough to look under 25. Due to the nature of the subject matter, we will not accept under 18s to accompany you on the tour.

Pets are not allowed in the brewery due to food hygiene standards. They are welcome in the taproom, but must be supervised and on a leash at all times.

Private Tours

Got a special event or a group of 15 people or more?

We are able to host private tours for groups on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons (other days may be available – just ask). Please contact brewerytap@doublebarrelled.co.uk to discuss customised private tours and tastings.
