Double-Barrelled are hiring!

We are on the look out for a passionate, dynamic & enthusiastic sales person to join the small but growing team at Double-Barrelled.

We are a very young brewery but with increasing numbers of events, a tap room & sales to manage we need an additional person on board to help us jump on the opportunities open to us & to keep on growing.

We are small, but offer great opportunities to grow and develop over the next few years. The initial role will focus on driving additional sales through trade accounts, whilst also looking at maximising the opportunity for consumer events at our tap room.

It’s all hands on deck here, and we do all tend to get involved in a bit of everything, however your primary responsibilities on joining the business will be:

Roles & Responsibilities

Leading the sales strategy for Double-Barrelled

Building and nurturing direct accounts relationships covering Berkshire, London & across the UK

Key customer account management for wholesale

Accurate forecasting & target setting

Driving additional sales & events at the tap room where possible.

Input on pricing & profitability decisions

Efficient sales administration, co-ordination of deliveries & logistics

Assistance in packaging & local dray running if & where required

Attendance at events across the country where required

Assistance & development on driving consumer demand to help increase trade sales

About the company

Double-Barrelled are a small modern brewery. We currently have 3 full time members of staff, including the 2 directors, so we really are small!

With a huge leap from where we began in our garage, we have an exciting few years ahead and we are looking for someone to join us on this journey.

Aside from producing the crowd pleasing IPAs & pales, we want our real focus to be experimenting with interesting kettle sours & barrel aging stouts. We need to pave the way for this mix between a core range at higher volumes & speciality sales.

This is an incredible, one-off opportunity to be at the start of something new, exciting and with huge growth potential. However, the most important element to us is your fit within the team – to filling our knowledge gap to your personality and attitude, you could become the vital ingredient that we are currently missing.

Ideal Candidate

You will be a highly organised, self-starter with excellent communication skills and attention to detail

You will prize existing customer relationships and strive to create new ones

You will be commercially minded, self motivated and with a natural knack for sales

Ideally you will already working within the beer industry in a sales role or have a very keen interest & great knowledge of beer with on-trade sales experience.

You will fit within our hard working but fun loving team, be a positive problem solver who’s willing to get stuck into anything.

Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

Driving license preferred as you may be required to dray run and visit accounts

You will be required to lift upto 40kg & will be able to spend a long time on your feet

This role will require working weekends and will often require travel & evening work. Shift pattern can be discussed and is flexible for the roles requirements. You will be based on the road around 60-80% of the time.

Starting salary will be relative to prior experience & is open to discussion with regards to on-target earnings.
