Lockdown 3 Update

Takeout & Click+Collect

Due to lockdown 3, our taproom is unfortunately closed for the time being, which means we will not be offering takeout beers or click+collect from our webstore. We’re still delivering nationwide from our webstore, with free delivery over £50, and we offer free local delivery on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays for orders over £30.

Growler Fills

We are now offering growler fills for delivery to local postcodes! If you already have a growler, we’ll collect from you in the morning, fill  it up with beer and return it to you the same day. If you don’t have one yet, you can order a new one to be filled and delivered to your door. We’ll be offering growler deliveries on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays alongside our usual local deliveries – why not grab some cans to go with it?

Deliveries

Local Deliveries (Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays only)

We offer free local deliveries on orders over £30. This applies to the following postcodes: RG1, RG2, RG4, RG5, RG6, RG7, RG8, RG30, RG31, RG40 & RG41.

Orders must be placed before midnight the day before. Please note we do not deliver on bank holidays.

If you are local and need your beer quicker, please let us know and we will see what we can do!

During the COVID-19 crisis, all local orders will be fulfilled by “non-contact” deliveries – we will ring the doorbell and place the parcel on your doorstep for you to pick up.

If you would like your beer to be left in a ‘safe place’ let us know in your order comments box.

National (Courier) Deliveries

For orders made between Monday and Thursday before 2pm, we will ship your order on the same day, for next working day delivery.

For orders made between Thursday 2pm and Sunday, we will ship your order on the following Monday.

Shipping is free for orders over £50!

Our courier, APC, will email you directly with tracking details. They are currently working on a 1-2 day delivery schedule.

Preferred ordering quantities

Please note that our shipping boxes fit 12, 15 or 24 cans. Whilst you can order in any quantity, the best way to ensure your beer bets to you in the best condition is by ordering in quantities that fit these boxes.

Can I send a gift?

Absolutely, beer makes the best gift! Please put a note in the ‘gifts’ section and we will make sure we don’t include the invoice, and will hand write a gift note with what you’ve written.

Who can order?

We can only sell and deliver to people over the age of 18.  We reserve the right to refuse the delivery if the person receiving the order looks under 25 and is unable to provide appropriate identification.

What do I do if there is a problem with my order?

Please contact cheers@doublebarrelled.co.uk and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

How can I return my order?

We are not able to offer refunds on beer due to the nature of the product. If your product arrives damaged please contact cheers@doublebarrelled.co.uk or call us on 01189428390.

When will “Beer XYZ” be back in stock?

With the exception of Parka and Ding, all our beers are seasonal one offs, and therefore unless under unusual circumstances, it is likely when we are sold out, the beer will not be brewed again.

Why do you say “drink fresh + keep cold”?

To ensure the beer is in the best condition when you drink it, we recommend keeping your beers in the fridge at all times at home. We also would recommend drinking your beers within 3 months, if not sooner. This is due to hop deterioration and the fact that we do not pasteurise our beer. This helps you get the best taste, and most like drinking at the brewery.
