International Women’s Collaborative Brew Day

International Women’s Collaborative Brew Day

We are so excited to be hosting an International Women’s Collaboration Brew Day at Double-Barrelled Brewery this March.

This day is open everyone who identifies as a woman or non-binary individuals who are keen to learn, have fun and get involved with beer!

This year, we’re splitting it into two sessions.

Brewday (currently full) kicking off at 8:30am – get involved in the full brew, digging out the mash tun and enjoying the fun.

Limited spaces available to allow people to get more involved. Tickets will be allocated on a first come/first served basis and a waiting list will be in place.

Pints & socialising

Our lovely taproom team will be opening up the bar and pouring pints between 2-8pm – so come chat beer in a friendly, safe and welcoming space.

Will include and first pours of the beer that Chelsea our brewer, brewed exclusively for IWD, and we’ll also tell you more about the beer we’ve brewed that day!

Everyone is welcome to come down anytime between 2pm-8pm.

Though please register do for a free ticket on EventBrite so we know you are coming.

What is IWCBD?

International Women’s Collaboration Brew Day is a worldwide annual event held every 8th of March in celebration of International Women’s Day for the last 10 years. The purpose of this brew day is to encourage all women interested in beer to be involved with a brew – because there is a role for women in breweries and beer, in whatever capacity they may like. We hope this day helps anyone who identifies as a woman to engage with the industry as a whole, providing a network of voices, companions and friends.
